Controls, communication and payment

Compare the published OCPP, network communication, display, protection, activation and card-payment information for each model.

The current values are maximum total device current / maximum current at one CCS2 connector. Actual charging current depends on battery voltage, vehicle demand and the charger power limit. With two vehicles connected, the available power is shared equally.

Match the charger to your site

Compare the models according to your site type, intended charging configuration and procurement requirements.

    Motorway locations

The HCDC-S2-120 product description identifies motorway use. For your enquiry, describe the location, vehicle mix and number of vehicles you want to charge simultaneously.

    Fleet depots

Fleet sites are also named in the HCDC-S2-120 description. Share your vehicle list, depot operating hours and charging windows so that the proposed configuration can be discussed against your requirements.

    Shopping centres and car parks

The HCDC-S2-120 description includes shopping centres. For smaller parking locations, HCDC-S1-30 is presented as an entry-level DC option. Include parking duration and expected charging demand in your project enquiry.

    CPO projects

Use the model comparison to review published OCPP, connectivity and charging outlet options. Tell us which backend you intend to use and how you want drivers to access and pay for charging. Request confirmation of the proposed integration and payment configuration for your project.

      Installation and grid connection

The comparison above reproduces the AC supply and mounting information published for each model. Use the linked product page as the source for the selected configuration.

Installation follows an on-site survey by an authorised HIMS dealer.
